CYCLOPS

Cyclops takes up the one-eyed outsider of Greek myth as a figure of refusal — refusing the binary of monster and hero, living and dead. Built from a 3D scan of an ancient fragment (itself said to depict a Cyclops) encountered at Palazzo Altemps in Rome, the series casts brokenness and imperfection as sources of resilience rather than shame.
